Dear Friends,

I will be selling personally autographed copies of San Francisco's Jewel
City: The Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915 at San Francisco
History Days at the Old Mint on Saturday, March 4, from 2-5pm in the
Authors' Room. I will not be giving a talk, so I'll have more time to chat
with people.

<http://sfhistorydays.org/> At History Days you will also find a selection
of incredible displays and speakers on SF history all that weekend. Check
out the entire schedule here: http://sfhistorydays.org/saturday/

Just look at all those great programs, and check out Sunday
<http://sfhistorydays.org/sunday/> 's selection as well. Beyond the lecture
rooms, each Mint space is filled with exhibits by a variety of local history
organizations. See Exhibitors <http://sfhistorydays.org/participants/> .

Personal Trivia: a great-uncle of mine was one of the last supervisors of
The Mint before it ceased to create United States legal tender!

Details about San Francisco History Days from the Organizers

and other history enthusiasts for a free Community Open House at this
historic site. Past history weekends at the Old Mint have brought together
dozens of organizations to celebrate and tell the City's unique history, and
